This is the first incredible footage from director and ocean explorer James Cameron's record breaking dive to the deepest point of the Earth's oceans. The Titanic director on Sunday spent three hours at the bottom of Challenger Deep, in the Mariana Trench, off the coast of the U.S. Pacific territory of Guam.

It was only the fourth time the seven-mile descent to the Pacific sea bed has been made successfully - and the first time a man has made it the bottom and back since 1960.
